Challenges in Promoting Use of Waste Plastic in Hot Bituminous Mixes
In my research on sustainable infrastructure, I discovered that adding waste plastic to bituminous road mixes significantly improves moisture resistance and extends pavement life. Through my published paper in IOSR journal, I identified the key barriers: high initial costs, technical challenges in retrofitting hot mix plants, and inconsistent plastic waste supply. My findings suggest that overcoming these obstacles requires supportive policies, technological innovation, and reliable waste plastic supply chains to scale this eco-friendly solution.

Experimental Investigation of Bearing Structure as Seismic Resilience in the Case of an Earthquake
In my research for Genius Olympiad 2025, I tackled the critical challenge of protecting buildings from earthquake devastation through innovative seismic damping technology. I developed a prototype using ball and roller bearings that acts as a buffer between the ground and building structure during seismic events. My experimental setup featured a motor-driven shake table simulating earthquake conditions, with MPU6050 sensors measuring vibration transmission.
